Carmen Hendrix has penned a masterpiece. This book is filled with all the expectations that a reader seeks when choosing their next good read. It is overflowing with deep sentiments that prick the heart at the seat of all emotions. It touches on the main elements of real family life with its disappointments, unfulfilled expectations, forgiveness and the lack of, emotional abuse, infidelity, and even unconditional love. Her insight to put such on-point dialogue to an absolutely captivating storyline is simply amazing. Her approach to describing feelings and passions that connect the pain of loss and the yearnings of dreams that don’t die is remarkable. “Eight Moments” leaves the reader hungry for more, it is "gooder" than good; it is GREAT!!!
