Back in L.A. again, Kalidas finds himself facing an extreme physical health challenge. Unable to walk and confined to a wheelchair, he is forced to examine elements of healing including but also beyond the standard Western medical approach. Underneath the surface story, there is a deeper yearning to understand what it means to live a life of spirit in the material world.

Kalidas believes, "Healing has many components and aspects. I had to break down the different areas of my life which may have contributed to the problem. The key to growth is that we try to improve all aspects of our lives and thereby increase the probability that real and lasting healing will take place."
