He's the first to help friends like Ben Regan with boat work or be a card partner with Bart Davis. Will's ready to settle down with Carla, loving her is natural. He's bonded with her son, Noah. Entangled by Julie Arduini is a great read. Julie is a great storyteller that incorporates humor, compassion, healing, forgiveness, and love into this story. Carla Rowling is making a career change and going from law enforcement to hair stylist or beauty school anyway. Since she's a single mom, Will Marshall, her truck-driving, plaid-shirt boyfriend, is more than willing to help her out by staying with her son, Noah, while she’s at beauty school. What a guy!

But with all her blessings she could be counting, Carla is afraid of failure, a feeling which has plagued her since high school when she made the mistake of getting pregnant with Noah. Now, her ex-high school boyfriend and Noah's father, Wayne Peterson, who is a good-looking ambulance attendant wants to make that mistake right by trying to win Carla back.

Besides a life-changing event of career change, Carla has the pressure of making the decision of dating and maybe marrying a man that she once loved (and still finds attractive) and giving Noah a father, or seeing what happens with Will, her current boyfriend. That’s the premise and it makes for a great entangled story done in Julie Arduini first person style, which keeps you turning page after page.

I laughed, I cried, I rejoiced and I couldn't put it down! I spent the day with Carla and a quote from her couldn't be more wrong... "Right. The teen mom who leaves the sheriff’s office to cut hair, all while waffling between two men. There’s a book people will rush to read." Well I did!

Julie Arduini writes an engaging story that will have you sighing, laughing, and crying as you follow the heroine through this beautiful, heart-warming journey of self-discovery. The characters are believable and will charm their way into your heart. I read the final page and closed the book feeling uplifted and inspired.

I enjoyed this book very much! I liked how authentic and real the characters are. The story is easy to get into. These people and their lives could be my friends and people I know, and someone I can identify with. Their lives and situations may be different from mine, but I love the way the lessons her characters learn along the way are things I can learn from too. Good resolutions to potential real life issues. it's an entertaining book and fun to read. It kept me guessing who the main character, Carla, was going to choose to be with in the end.

Since I’d read the first book of this series, Entangled felt like a warm welcome from a favorite small town. I loved Speculator Falls in Entrusted¸ and it hasn’t lost any of its charm. This story takes the reader to the larger town of Gloversville, where Carla attends cosmetology school. There we are introduced to several more characters, and I enjoyed getting to know them through their interactions with our reluctant heroine. Noah’s dad, Wayne, brings some special spice to the mix with his pursuit of Carla and her resulting confusion.
Author Julie Arduini’s characters are realistic, imperfect people, and their trials and triumphs tug at the heartstrings. I thoroughly enjoyed Entangled, and for that reason, I award it five stars. I was given a copy of this book by the author in exchange for my honest opinion.

Entangled is an awesome book. I enjoyed the characters. The pages took me in as Carla blossomed and fell in love again. It's refreshing to read a book where the characters are just like everyday people. I won't give the story away, but I will say it's a must read for any book lover who likes a real and clean romance.
Julie Arduini does a fantastic job weaving stories with believable characters.

Julie Arduini’s book, Entangled, is book 2 in the Surrendering Time Series. I really loved this book. Julie is great at developing her characters, which is always a great way to hook the reader into the story. The main character, Carla, is given the chance to follow her dream of going to cosmetology school. Just when her life seems to be on course, a distraction appears in the form of her son’s father, who tries to pursue her. Carla becomes confused and distances herself from her current boyfriend, Will.

I love how the characters are so real, flawed, believable and have emotions like we do in real life. Congratulations to the author on a great book! I was given a copy of the book by the author in exchange for my honest review.

Entangled is encouragement for any adult age and a subject that is all too common in our society. So many people carry guilt through their life for one or more choices they made that can't be changed. Carla learns to deal with her insecurity and count her blessings while overcoming the negative part of her past to build a happy future. She shows us that determination and surrender to faith and self forgiveness can lead us out of some of our dark places to a deserving bright and happy life.
Julie kept me completely interested to see if and how all her characters would deal with their challenges.
