The first section of this book (Essays from Dysfunctional Families) is a book compiled of ten essays from ten different American citizens who tell their dysfunctional family story. This book (Essays...) is written by fictional author Dean K Brent. The second part of the book (Literary Betrayal) is the story (or backlash) of the writer. We find out in Literary Betrayal that Dean K Brent used the true stories of his family and friends in the making of his book, Essays from Dysfunctional Families. After a long time a way from home he returns for a book signing. Unfortunately his family and friends are not pleased with him.
