"Fatal Eclipse by Dermot Davis begins when Jonathan Dabko takes Maria Gianini as his lawfully wedded wife, and runs into Peter, Maria's ex-boyfriend. Jonathan finds difficulty in consummating his marriage and, as advised by his therapist, tests his wife for the virtues he was expecting from her in an attempt to identify the cause. To this end, he makes his best friend, well known for his romantic tastes, propose to her and study her reaction. He also goes on a short holiday to Hawaii, leaving her behind, to test her loyalty. He returns from Hawaii unannounced and remains in hiding, to carry out surveillance of his home, to catch her red handed. And all this leads to a surprising finale.

Fatal Eclipse by Dermot Davis is a treat. The self confidence exhibited by Maria, as well as the lack of it shown by Jonathan, is a true reflection of any newly wedded couple. Jonathan's unsure nature and the response from the psychologist makes quite interesting reading about the approach to such treatment. The story becomes thrilling and full of eventful occurrences towards the end. This is an excellent read, with a gripping plot and an equally arresting narration." - Roy T.
