WOW! For me this book is confirmation and right on time for where I am in my walk with God. I plan to use this book as a spring board toward my dream. The book is awesome if you want to build positive godly speech, godly thinking and godly focus. If you're just getting started dreaming or if you've been dreaming for a while, this book can reach you at any point of your dream. LET'S GO GET OUR DREAM.

For me “FINISH” is more than a book. It is more like a personal coach encouraging and motivating you at the same time to get going and finish what you have started so that “you” can enjoy the rewards of your labor; bringing the honor that is due because you kept your promise to yourself, the Lord, family members, friends, and so on.
This book encourages you for you. It kept saying to me that nothing brings more joy than finishing a task and a task well done. I believe that the author was led by a higher power to write “FINISH” and that God will get the glory for every finish that comes because it was written. As I stated in the beginning, for me, this is more than a book.

Finish: 28 Declarations to Move You One Step Closer to Your Dream by Angie Dent inspires courage and encourages the pursuit of dreams through faith and consistent action.
The twenty-eight declarations in the book explore having faith to accomplish set goals, cultivating patience and endurance, trusting in God to help in the achieving of the dreams, having courage and finishing strong. Dent also includes the importance of maintaining an attitude of gratitude when you achieve your dreams in the end.
She shares her own experiences and offers declarations based on scriptures that can be recited in order to build faith and courage. Overall, the book discusses every step of the journey with regard to the attainment of dreams and offers wise counsel supported by relevant scriptures.
The steps in Finish are well organized and they capture every setback possible when achieving a dream. The tone is conversational and friendly. I felt like the author was there cheering me on at every section while offering words of encouragement through phrases such as "You are almost there!" and "Fear not, you can!"
The book is brief and an easy read as discussions are specific and kept to the point. The declarations are also personalized such that as I read I could easily apply them to fit my own situations. I also loved that Angie Dent shares a bit of her life in relation to the accomplishment of dreams. This makes her words much more practical.
Finish is an amazing book that left me inspired and encouraged.

Growing up, many of us as a young child can remember, and should still remember the classic Disney cartoon Cinderella, especially the song A Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes.
As adults, I believe, after reading this book by Angie Dent, that many of us will now see how profound the words of this song actually are when you bring the Bible and the Lord into the picture.
To begin with we need to remember that a declaration isn’t merely a group of words, it’s a group of words which are uttered aloud by believers of the Lord so that His words can become true to them, by putting themselves into their declarations.
What the author, Angie Dent, has done here in her book is to give her readers 28 powerful declarations coupled with stimulating anecdotes designed to be read one each day in order to empower them to have their dreams come true.
We need to look Isaiah 41:10 [ESV] “Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand”; as well as Isaiah 41:13 “For I, the LORD your God, hold your right hand; it is I who” say to you, "Fear not, I am the one who helps you." To see the Lord’s commitment to those who believes in Him.
Sometimes when individuals don’t see what they want when they want it, they need to remember Romans 8:25 [ESV] “But if we hope for what we do not see, we wait for it with patience.”
