Lee Isserow, author

Adult; Mystery/Thriller; (Market)

In a city of ten million, under glass eyes of six million cameras, one man evades their networked stares, watching those who are watched.
His days are spent deducing stories of lives from momentary glimpses. Filming everything.

But Jared is starting to see more.
He spends every free moment pouring over the footage, and fate is bringing other observers into his life, teaching him how to push his skills further.

But he's also hearing voices, thinks he's being followed, surveilled, and has no idea how much - if any of it - is real.

All he knows, is that if he wants answers, he has to keep watching.

Reviews
Lavin, Goodreads

Considering I despise most mystery/crime stories, I really liked the concepts in this book.

The conflict within the psyche added to Jared's apparent deterioration and I was wondering if he was hallucinating or not until the last chapter altogether. The paranoia reminds me of 1984.

Sadly, I felt like the story could've been expanded and become a beautiful complex story that 100 pages failed to capture precisely. The characters could've had more depth and the story could've expanded over a longer period of time to show Jared solve other mysteries at the same time as the plot that unfolded in almost the last chapter.

Of course, being written in only a month, this story is amazing in its own right
