FORGIVE U.S. OUR DEBT$-2
T. M. Crosby, author

When a desperate young Russian woman attempts to seduce Republican Congressman George Li of San Francisco, he has no idea how his ingenuous response sets him on a controversial – and destined – path.

It is Saturday, December 31, 2016 – just hours before the Obama White House’s midnight deadline booting a select group of Russians out of the United States on charges of interfering in the previous month’s presidential election. Although Congressman Li thwarts the Russian seductress’ attempts, the legislator credits a higher power for protecting – and directing – him in his duty to maintain control of his native country during the upcoming administration.

He’d done it before. Two years earlier, he had led the charge to reinstate the gold standard following China’s near-cataclysmic call of a portion of its U.S. bonds after an advance warning from a trusted – and romantic – Chinese Communist Party confidante.  He had seized the act as an unprecedented opportunity not only to bolster the United States but to boost his own ambition for the White House.

Following violence against Chinese Americans over the bond call, Republicans assigned him 24-hour protection. A parade of parasitic personalities latched onto him, hoping to serve with the legislator when he wins the White House, most notably Political Student Leader M. L. Kennedy and a cougar – Republican National Committee Vice Chairwoman Margaret Susan Davis. However, his colleague, Republican Congressman Reece Trelane Williams, who also covets the Oval Office and Ms. Davis, considers Li a Sino-enabler, and launched a continuous offensive against him to maintain White American dominance, nationally and globally.

Now on the brink of a new year and new uncertainty, Congressman Li braces to counter any attempts at foreign sabotage by any means necessary, just as he finesses with the Russian diplomat. After all – in his mind – rules are meant to be bent – no matter what.
