Newly-Independent Congressman George W. Li of San Francisco secretly knows the January 6th U.S. Capitol attack is just a warm-up in a foreign-backed, domestic insurgency campaign enabled by congressional collaborators despite his suspects’ oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of their United States.

After a proposition from a citizenship-seeking Russian informant who singled him out following his Republican Party expulsion for siding with Democrats during the triple crises of extreme politics, pandemic and protests, Li risks a private investigation to verify her claims, circumventing the formal congressional committee, media, even his own party, staff and family.

In exchange for Li’s desired sponsorship, his female informant provides secret, controversial updates on how previous administration members receive advice on repeating their White House victory and pass it on to certain Members of Congress, whenever she visits Li’s Washington, DC townhome undercover as maid service – and for a potential sanctuary if or when she’s tracked down before she switches sides.

Li’s got four years to prevent his native country’s implosion by: winning the Oval Office as an Independents National Party candidate while shielding himself from hate crimes against Asian-Americans; countering online cyberattacks as a non-traditional party congressman suspected of creating what he's trying to expose – sabotage; and fudging legislative rules on interactions with foreigners - which includes his Chinese Communist Party confidant/lover in Beijing -  as he crusades to expose subversive attempts to redesign American democracy into Fascism 2.0
