Secrets, book three of the Secret Enemy Saga, is on point with the first two. Suspense, humor, romance.... From the opening, McKevitt's vivid descriptions pull me into the scene.
Kristina, after killing the nasty Alexasia--Queen of the Couton, is settling into her life with Tegrin and embracing her abilities. Terrifying nightmares begin to occur. Fearing the Couton are back, she is determined to travel to Tegrin's world and learn more about the clan. In Patwain, she discovers more about herself than the Couton.
Tegrin--Guardian of the Lion Clan, loyal assassin to the King of Patwain--has been one of my favorite heroes since we first met in book one. He falls unexpectedly and completely in love with Kristina. Throughout the series he arms her with weapons, and knowledge to save her from the destiny she is meant to face, and then he then stands beside her, not in her way.
I believe McKevitt has turned out another action-packed story with unique, endearing characters. Secrets were exposed, and mysteries were revealed--enough to satisfy the ending and leave you wanting more. I look forward to book four.

The story line is so very incredible! and the characters will win your heart!. Tegrin and Kristina are an amazing couple!. This book is my favorite in this saga lol it is more steamy but in a very classy way lol. It seems Tegrin and Kristina still have their work cut out for them!. Kristina knows the battle is not over so she goes to Tegrin's world to be with him. Kristina has so many painful rites to go through what with a spider bite now a scorpion figures into this book ouch!. Kristina learns her Great Grandmother is still alive and feels she maybe able to help Kristina to unlock her memories. Then she also learns there are more then one Fracture between Patwain and Earth. It seems Kristina will be needed back in Earth before they know it as they thought Alexasia was gone only they are so wrong!. Will they win the next battle that is on the horizon? This has been such an amazing reading journey!. You will love this saga it has so much awesome suspense,action,humor and Sweet steamy Romance!. This is a must read Saga!.

This story is so great! Ms. McKevitt has written a story that grabs you and pulls you in to another world and another time and then brings you back. This Fantastic third book in the series brings us up to date on what powers Kristina has and what she is capable of. She still hasn't come into all her abilities but continues to learn and grow. She learns about what happened to her Grandma and meets her Great Great Grandma in this one. Filling in some of the blanks in her memory and helping her to understand that she is a special Seer because she is an Elemental also. We get some back ground on Sissie's former relationship with Heston and where he fits into the story now. Kate, Sissie's cousin also had a relationship with Heston which almost cost them his life in this book. The evil Couton Alexasia returns with a vengeance in this one and the mission is to kill her one final time. Maybe, maybe not?
I have been just blown away at how well this author describes the scenes and makes you feel like you are there. I know this is a fantasy/ Si-Fi but all of it seams so real and you can "see" the landscape and the things that are happening. I love all the characters and love the interplay between Tegrin and Kristina. Especially when she is using words from our world and then has to explain what they mean to him. The name for his manhood comes to mind. lol An Absolute must read series!

Wow now that Tegrin and Kristina are mates and married you think everything would settle down, but it just gets crazier. the title was correct in being named Secrets. There's lots of them in this book even her mate Tegrin has one. This one has Kristina having dreams showing that Alexasia the evil Priestess may be still alive. And they are true she is now Kristina and Tegrin have to defeat her again. That ending was awesome. Hope to read more of these great couples .This is just as action packed as the first two and I loved it very much well done.
Wow!!!!!! I've waited for a long time to read this book. After finally getting it I decided to reread the first 2 before starting on this one. I have been reading since Friday, every chance I could get I had my nose in my iPhone getting lost in the story of Kristina & Tegrin. Mrs mckevitt, is an exception Writer. From cover to cover each book had me enthralled. I wanted, no, needed to continue reading. I live in New Orleans area, I can't help but think of and picture the scenes taking place in the book whenever I drive thru Weswego, passing up the seafood lot. Or walking thru downtown near the Cathedral. I would definitely recommend this book to others. Looking forward to reading books four and five

Amazing fantasy, action packed!
I love how the author has blended legends and myths of our world with the other world. I was not expecting the plot twists that happens. The love story is smoothly integrated into the story. The humor that is slipped in here and there takes this book to a wonderful place! *the author was kind enough to gift this book to me for an honest review*
