This small book is a feast for a gardener's eyes, especially in the midst of a New England winter with piles of dirty snow all around. The photos are glorious and I really love the author's suggestions for unusual patio plant containers, including a pair of discarded workboots filled with nasturtiums. In addition to the mouth-watering photographs, there's a wealth of information here, including a list of gardening magazines and websites along with information about soil types which I found invaluable.
