General Order No. 5: The Redemption of a Muslim American Patriot
Frederick Khan, author
We are only living the story that God had already decreed, and some of us write it down, so...
•\tWhere are we in the grand scheme of things as the historical chain of events since the beginning of time unfold?
•\tWhat have we become, and who has either been benefitted, harmed, or otherwise influenced by our existence?
•\tWhat was boxing legend Muhammad Ali really like away from the cameras?
•\tWhat was AMMCOP supposed to be, and what happened to it?
•\tWhat was MANA supposed to be, and what happened to it?
•\t What did Imam W.D. Mohammed really have to say about those who claimed to follow him?
•\tWhy could Stevie Wonder “see” better than sighted people?
•\tWho and what does the American flag truly represent, and who are the REAL patriots?
•\tHow significant to my story is the answer to these questions?
There is only one way to find out!
General Order No. 5 is a realistic down-to-earth chronicle, outlining
the story of an American boy, growing into manhood, and learning
the art of redemption. As he comes in contact with people of note
as well as those who could threaten to pose a negative impact on
his character, he learns more about himself, and through trial and
error, defeats and victories, pain and relief... poverty and affluence.
Finally, as he approaches the closing years of his life, he finally
learns how to connect and balance his religiosity with his perception
of true patriotism in his quest to make an impact on world peace.
