Grand Central Station: Some Relationships Are Just Meant to Be A famous child psychologist, who has authored several bestselling books on raising children, discovers he doesn’t know as much as he thought he did when he meets a pediatrician and mother of three. Neither of them imagined how their lives would change when they shared a flight headed for Las Vegas for a medical convention. For Jack Winston and Victoria Feingold, whatever happens in Vegas doesn’t stay in Vegas. It follows them back to Chicago. Grand Central Station is a fast-paced ride and a lot of fun!

5.0 out of 5 starsA true to life romance!

January 25, 2018

Format: Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase

If you’re tired of the same run of the mill romances then this one is certainly right up your alley. You won’t wind up with a huge drama that leaves you waiting for the happy ending. Rather, this romance is a lot more real to life than you can imagine. The characters are loveable, even with some of their eccentric behaviors, which is something that I especially enjoyed about the book. I also got a kick out of the humor that the author brought to the table. If you love romance stories but aren’t eager for the erotic elements that many novels have now-a-days, then this is right up your alley.
I read this book was taken from a screen play, which might be one of the main reasons it stood out to me. Of course, this means the dialogue is much stronger than you would find in other novels. Overall, you will keep a deeper storyline that is sure to impress.

4.0 out of 5 starsno one is perfect and that makes the story even more endearing

Grand Central Station: Some Relationships Are Just Meant to Be by Marsha Casper Cook is a lighthearted romantic comedy that entertains and keeps you laughing. When Jack, a child psychologist turned writer meets Victoria Feingold, he's not sure if he can manage not only her, but her three kids, mother and sister as well. A fast read that is filled with realistic familial relationships, a few mishaps here and there, and even Angus the talking dog, who seems to know what Jack is thinking. The characters are all portrayed in a realistic manner from Grace to Victoria and on to Jack, no one is perfect and that makes the story even more endearing. A quick read, this one will keep you entertained and amused until the very end. Highly recommend for a fast read with a touching story.

4.0 out of 5 starsWhat a wonderful book. I loved al the humor

What a wonderful book. I loved al the humor, the family antics, the romance and the (mis) understandings. Take a lifelong Bachelor and pair him off with a woman who’s hands are more than just full, they are overflowing with commitments, family and pets and you get a hilarious yet charming romance that is all the more believable by the flaws in the characters portrayal. You won’t find perfection of character here, no, you get real people,……. and a talking dog?
Yup, honesty, trust, and humor are important in relationships and this book does well in highlighting that fact. The two main characters have to overcome some issues, personal and together and they are definitely made for one another. The ace is greatly suited to this novel, it doesn’t drag, nor does it race through and you find love and warmth on most pages. I truly enjoyed this book. If you are tired of the same old romances, then read this book, I think it is worth your while.

5.0 out of 5 stars... is not only a child psychologist but has three best sellers. Victoria Feingold is a mom to three ...

Grand Central Station focuses on Jack Winston who is not only a child psychologist but has three best sellers. Victoria Feingold is a mom to three and a pediatrician. Her mom happens to be a huge fan of Jack and one weekend in Vegas the two meet and have a wild time. They come back home to Chicago and once Jack meets Victoria’s children, mom and sister in law he realizes he may not be prepared to live in a full house type situation. Honestly it’s understandable. I live in a quiet house even with my one kid and her house sounds like pure chaos most of the time.

However, these two characters not only can be pretty funny but they are relatable and more than that they are memorable. I really enjoyed this book and I’ve recommended it to my mom because I know she too will enjoy how different of a story this one is.

5.0 out of 5 starsIf You're Looking for an Enjoyable Romantic Ready for the Weekend or Vacation...This is it!

I really enjoyed this story. It's a quick read and one that isn't loaded down with sex. It's one of those romantic comedy's you just enjoy reading on a Sunday afternoon.

The writing was good and the story kept my interest. There wasn't anything in the storyline where I felt it was pushing reality. This is just a fun, simple, romance and everything tends to happen naturally. You can't help but like the characters and humor isn't forced either. When I was reading the book I felt the author did a good job with the plot and the movement was just like best-selling authors of mainstream fiction write a story. I had actually just finished "Honeymoon" from James Patterson and when I started this novel, I felt it had the same writing style and pacing.

If you're just looking for an enjoyable romantic read for a weekend or vacation, this is it.

This is an amazing book for sure!! I loved every single part of it I just could not skip all those pages when they gave me a lot of entertainment. I am really into romantic stories, and this one gave me a lot of it and, a lot of fun. The plot was amazing and so the writing was as well, this one is a book that you usually want to read on a lazy afternoon when all you want to do is laugh a feel a little bit of love! I think the characters are just like anyone else with their own personalities, one of the things that I liked the most about the story is that it let us know (even when we already know it) that honesty means a lot when it comes to a relationship.

If you are looking for a romantic comedy then this book was made for you!!

4.0 out of 5 starsWhat I like is that I finished really fast

Oh boy, another romantic story, well here’s what I have to say.
What I like is that I finished really fast, it’s kinda short, but I like its length. The characters are very likeable and very humans; you don’t see here an average woman fighting with her daily life and then meets the perfect guy with the perfect life, hair, voice, and all of that crap. No, the characters are far from perfect but they are presented really well here and the situations are believable, and most of them are really funny, the humor here is presented in a very good way, I laugh out loud really hard with this book, it could easily be a family comedy and I like even more but it’s enough with being a romance story, there are really touching moments and I was just like ‘awwn how cute’ and the best of all is that there aren’t forced in any way.
I still am not too attached to this kind of books but it was a nice reading, it really differentiates from the rest.
