The Child of Light, spoken of only through the most hushed of whispers and written about in only the most ancient of texts, has been sighted roaming the streets of Arcadia. And in those almost forgotten words lies a truth that holds the fate of Ashkar. Serraemas, along with Raxxil, Erendil, and Arwynn, arrive in the vast kingdom to retrieve the boy for their own plans only to find that they are not the only ones looking for him, nor are they even the first to reach the Child of Light. In the hands of a mysterious man named Incindir, the Child of Light sets out to collect nine orbs scattered throughout the world that hold immense power--the power to save Ashkar from its impending doom.
