Reese Summers’ small-town reporting talents were good enough to get her noticed by the editor of the Savannah Daily. Hired as an investigative reporter to snoop around a local shipping company, she unwittingly becomes a pawn in a feud between her editor and shipping magnate Viktor Drakos. As she investigates, Reese becomes at odds with the editor and unwisely accepts a position in Viktor’s company. She soon learns some of his cargo is entangled in an international scheme to circumvent weak electronic waste regulations.
