Heart of Stone had me drawn to Matthew the aspiring artist and very much so disliking the spoiled I get what I want Donnella Stone. I tried to find every reason to not like her she just left me with fowl feelings toward her. She was almost inhuman as far as I felt that is until Matthew got what he wanted and then things began to change I saw Donnella in a whole other light. Matthew and Donnella together were like a rolling storm that could light up the night sky. I found my self caught up in this story it even left me blushing more than once.

Amazing story. Very powerful. emotional rollercoaster overload.
Donnella very strong woman who went from being used to using them back. She was powerful women in man's world. She steamed rolls them. And no man was going to break her down ever again!.
Until Matthew walked into her life. Matthew just loved him. very talented artist. He's was strong well man and he knew how to handle donnella.
Well they make it as a couple love happily ever after?
Will she over come her past? You need to read this I highlly recommended it. Like I said amazing book.

When I first started reading Heart Of Stone,I thought it was going to be another heavy panter! But,I was wrong! This is a book about a brave woman,who turned her father's business around,a woman who had been taken advantage of by a man she loved. She became a woman who used men,but also helped them achieve success in their career fields. At first,I did not like Donnella very much at ALL!! But, after reading further,I felt sorry for her. Here is a woman who seems to have everything at the touch of her well manicured fingertips! Yet,she is alone! Until she meets Matthew Mayfield,an artist who photographs and paints disfigured women. Women who have lost legs and arms,he makes them beautiful! He needs to have his artwork shown in a well known gallery. Donnella Stone owns such a gallery,they meet and she likes him. She proposes that he become her man of the moment. He thinks it over,he is attracted to her and signs the agreement. Matthew is a Sweetheart! I loved how he would take care of her,and worry over her! But, they both have a mountain of hidden secrets! The twists and turns! The past is creeping ever closer,like a train wreck! I Could Not Wait to see how it ended!! Would they stay together,overcome their secrets and pasts? Or,would Donnella give Matthew a pat on the backside as she sends him away. I enjoyed reading this book,and would read others by this author!
