In late 1941, actor Humphrey Bogart is a disgruntled mid-level movie star, He is making $2,000 a week and fellow actor Errol Flynn is making $15,000 a week. Bogie decides to get out of the "make believe movie business" and obtains a detective badge to do some sleuthing for a living. Little does he know SuperStardom is just a round the corner for him. Lascivious glamour movie queens, some with pistols in their hands, come after him. He is stabbed, beated up, and his beloved pleasure boat is wrecked with Bogie and his wife on board. When Bogie comes up with the murdered Cazrina's blood-soaked crown jewels he is in more danger ghan he ever faced, on screen or off There are no cuss words and  no graphic sex scenes in this novel.
