FTL travel is available through new laws of physics. Humans are terraforming and colonizing other planets. Technology is overcoming death through resurrection, cloning, or resuscitation, depending upon your death's circumstances and the funds you have available. But Humans are not as alone as they believe. Other species are defining and protecting Humans, but even they're unaware of everything happens.
