Great bedtime reading material. Great Christian Author. Stories are page turners and you can't put one down until you reach the end.

Very creative plots and many twists.I loved first series I read and am hooked on this one. This may be my favorite series. Hope it continues, Hope.

Hope Callaghan does it again. Grabs you on page one and doesn't let go til the last sentence. I was concerned this would be a more serious, cold, hard read.......but it is not. It's so very good; another cozy mystery Hope has created.

Carlita and Mercedes really learn to stand on their own and make decisions and even deal with consequences. Vinnie would be proud. Anxious to grab book 2 in this series.

I love this new series main characters, Carlita and Mercedes--a mom and daughter team equipped with spunkiness and a determination to be independent from a shady mob background.

They survive their house being vandalized after their husband/father dies, but then other puzzling events start taking place. Before they know it, they have a mystery to solve... beginning with the discovery of a key found in a coat pocket which leads them to a safety deposit box with life-changing contents.

Carlita and Mercedes grow in their independence as they move from New York to Savannah to escape from the 'family business' and the mob. Once there, they'll work renovating an old set of buildings to live in, while starting a new business and new lives.

As always, I had a hard time putting down this new book from Hope Callaghan and just enjoyed devouring it! Now I'm pleased to discover the 2nd book in the series is available. Mshell
