Laughing Heirs is a humorous legal thriller that begins with a man peering through one of female attorney Robin Starling's front windows and a mad dash across an ice-slicked road. It continues with a dead man who might or might not have been murdered, boy problems, human blood that keeps showing up in the most unlikely places, and more boy problems. If that weren't enough, the district attorney seems to have a personal vendetta against Robin, who continues to poke around when more conventional lawyers would file their legal documents and await developments.
