Life Lessons with Savanna
Studs is a computer genius. Home schooled by his grandparents, he's a socially awkward person who burrows into solitude and isolation when he's upset. Savanna is his girlfriend, or was, until her death. Now, trying to dig himself out of grief, Studs sets out on a road trip to become the person she thought he could be and heads to a small town in southern Oregon. The first problem is that he finds Alice, a woo-woo girl, dead in the Y parking lot in the early morning winter hours. The second problem is that the killer is framing Studs. The third problem is Savanna's presence as a person in his head. Studs isn't sure if this is helpful or the first signs of mental decay, but with Savanna's help, computer skills, and assistance from a local woman, Jerry Loo, Studs grapples with the answers - and more mysteries.
