SKUNKS AND BATS AND NARCOLEPTIC CATS, OH MY!
As if being struck by lightning wasn’t bad enough. I spent a month in a coma. Of course that was when I was a teenager. It left me with some pretty unusual abilities. For instance, I can find just about anything or anyone. Oh, and I can see ghosts, too!
I pick up extra cash working with the local P.D. I’m their go-to girl when they have someone they need to find. Despite all of this, my life is pretty boring — that is until the very hot Detective Nick Cavanaugh came into my life. Boy did we get off on the wrong foot. I was asked to pair up with Detective Cavanaugh to look for three missing children. Did I mention that he doesn’t believe in my superpowers?
When we discover the children have been kidnapped, the search takes us up into the mountains and old mining towns. With time running out and my abilities going wonky, Cavanaugh is ready to drop me from the case.
Pffft! As if that will stop me!
This book is wonderful. Andromeda has the right sassy attitude. I love her family, her friends, her man and especially her cat. I bought this book one day and her other one the next day. I have already read both. They are just great. If you like romantic comedy with a touch of the woo-woo you will not want to miss this series. Hurry up and write another one, I just can not wait.
I absolutely loved 'Lightning Strikes'. The storyline pulled me in from the beginning and did not let go. I literally could not put it down. I loved the humor throughout. I laughed out loud quite a few times. The characters were a great cast of humorous personalities. Andromeda is so damn funny. I loved her character. And Nana, she is hysterical. The way the story played out was thrilling. I can not wait to read more in this series. After reading Theresa Parker's work, I will definitely read more from her. An awesome add to your tbr list. Definitely recommended.
Could not put it down, once I started reading!
Fun and exciting read. Story line draws you in and keeps you hooked. I laughed out loud several times! Could not put it down! I bought the 2nd book in the series and am looking forward to (hopefully) another in the future!
