This lovely poem and illustrations came to me as I awoke from a dream. I want to bridge the gap we have between generations and to help the family unit become more like it was many years ago. This lovely little poem expresses the emotions I feel when writing and illustrating children's book. My granddaughter helped me pick out the best drawing for the little old woman. I could tell it would be a success when she fell in the floor giggling...of course, she loved it and she has since then always wants to draw and write poems like Grandma.
