A great book about healing without side effects using a new approach of low dose ( homeopathic ) molecules. A must read!
This book is deep in medical terminology. It is not the usual herbal make me feel better type that are so common on amazon. This author is trying to break what I also believe needs to be addressed and he is doing it on the medical system's own grounds. I want to shake your hand.
The problem aside from having to be a doctor to read this book is a major one. The problem is not with the book it is with the medical system. I shall try to explain. The idea of low dosage despite the author's claim of being new is not new. As far back as 1500s with herbals and re-debated again after Flemming discovered penicillin were two camps of pharmacology. Low and high debating what is the proper dosing for their drugs. Needless to say, as this author recognizes, the high dose side won because antibiotics requires it and other ailments achieve fast results. In my mind high dose is western medicine while low dose is eastern. This is why the two hemispheres have not reconciled yet.
My experiences with western doctors indicates low dosing is not even taught anymore. That is the problem. Finding a doctor willing to work outside of standard protocols. Because long term high dosages, in most cases, has harmful side effects the standard is to give what is required for the flareup episode to do the job then stop cold turkey totally ignoring people with chronic conditions who will benefit from a continuous low dosage as this author is trying to teach us. Sadly you will need a doctor to get some of the medications this book talks about so buy two, one in paperback to give to your doctor to wake him up.
