Nature's Love

Adult; Sci-Fi/Fantasy/Horror; (Market)

Nature’s Love is Book Two of the Nature Series. Nature’s Kiss is Book One (available on Amazon). Nature’s Love starts the morning after Nature’s Kiss ends and continues the adventures of Faye Bloomberg, a 36 year-old, Cape Cod high school English teacher with a lifelong passion for fantasy. Faye’s life began to transform after she took one of her 10th grade students, Ariella, under her wing. Ariella and her mother are members of the Viridis Glas Luminasti (VGL), a secret, worldwide environmental group, and are able to communicate with nature spirits. In Nature’s Love Faye’s life continues to change at an amazing pace, especially after she meets the mysterious Moira, the ancient, little brown woman who organizes the Full-Moon Productions and is a major player in the VGL. Faye’s relationship with Drake, her 42 year old boyfriend of five years, is put under serious strain, and Faye’s desire to have a baby becomes a big point of contention. When 28 year old, Phys Ed teacher Shandra takes an interest in Drake tensions build. Simultaneously, Faye’s sex drive surges, which Ariella ascribes to the nature spirits’ influence. As a result, Faye finds beings of all sorts attracted to her. Leaf, Ariella’s big orange tomcat, strives to become Faye’s familiar, with unusual results. Ariella also goes through her own changes when her new friendship with Sorcha, the punkish, motorcycle riding, lesbian, deepens. Ariella’s other problems at the high school multiply. The Borg-like Swarms step up their threats as they recognize Faye’s unique sensitivities and valiant Leaf gets caught in the crossfire. The giant green spirit, Verdant Sea, makes several vital appearances. And who is Epifania? Of course, midst all this change, we learn much, much more about the nature spirits and the VGL and how together they are working to preserve Earth’s biosphere.
