Wilson's ability to touch your heart shines through in each of her books, and One for Kami is no different. This tale of true love spans time and dimensions. One for Kami is a story that will have you willing to give up everything for your one true love.
 

"One for Kami" is a fantasy, sweet romance. I loved the science fiction feel of the book. It reminded me of "Logan's Run" - a really old movie I watched as a kid and I can't even put my finger on why. I loved being transported into another world like Kami - another dimension. The descriptions were fascinating and there was a sense of awe threading through the book. I did find I struggled to understand some of the settings as they were so unusual but you almost got the feel you weren't supposed to understand. It was an alternate world anyway. The romance was sweet and touching.

Discard the intro publisher details and the prologue of another book and One For Kami is 37 pages long, therefore a quick read. The plot line is predictable but don’t let that put you off; otherwise you will miss the chance to enjoy a well presented story, which is beautifully written.
Ms. Wilson’s offers vivid settings for both her worlds without quite defining either the time period or the exact place those worlds are set in… Until the very end that is when you discover the hero and heroine end up in Chicago.
It takes tight writing to create a fully formed story with an amazing amount of detail in thirty-seven pages to maintain the forward flow of the story and Ms. Wilson manages this with deceptive ease.
Rules, regulations, trials and tribulations are all presented in a believable manner. Emotions vary from raw pain to the integrity of upholding beliefs to the highs of true love and filled in the characters personalities to a depth that is surprising in such a short story. The supporting cast also came across as three-D personalities.
There is no explicit sex, or swearing in One For Kami, but the story is full of it’s own kind of tensions and, in my humble opinion, stronger for it.
If you enjoy fantasy, then consider, One For Kami. If you enjoy sweet romance, then this will fit your reading requirements. And if you enjoy having a quick read, then this book is worth picking up. And if you want all three in one, then why not pick up One For Kami?
For lovers of a good fantasy read, Ms. Wilson is an author to look out for.
