On a rainy Saturday morning in November of 2008, Homicide Detective John Elliott of the Seattle PD is called to the scene of what appears to be a routine homicide. Elliott soon learns, however, that the young female victim is an employee of the US Justice Department and her death is anything but routine. Over the next 48 hours Elliott scrambles to find out who is behind her death and, in the process, discovers a terrorist plot to rival 9/11.
