"I have browsed through this book which is a valuable contribution in the field of oceanography as such. The treatise should be treated as an authentic reference book. The author has taken pains to include all essential data regarding rise on sea-level and the menace that looms large as a consequence. It is unfortunate we are still complacent about it. The peril of recession of glaciers and its effects on snow-fed rivers have been focused by you. The book deserves greater publicity. Kudos to Sudipta for his study! " commented by Mr. T. Sanyal.
