The characters were well developed and led me through the story with interest. I particularly liked the dialogs. They talked like people actually talk with incomplete sentences and partial phrases rather than in "authored prose". Ultimately it all leads to sex which was hot but not pornographic, realistic but not graphic. I felt like Alexandra, "...these funny tugs and pulls low in my belly..." Am buying copies for a couple of friends and am looking forward to the story continuing in another book.

Brooke has a talent for describing delicious love scenes along with characters that share your feelings and experiences. This is a great beach read-no two ways about it.

Loved this book!! Having grown up during the 80s and loving the rock scene back then, the backdrop for the story was right up my alley. I throughly enjoyed the story from beginning to end. I thought the way the characters developed their relationship over time was exceptionally well told. I found myself rooting for them each step of the way. It had everything...drama, humor, and let’s just say if they ever make it into a movie, it definitely going to get an R-rating! ;)
If you’re going to the beach or mountains this summer, take this along with you! Can’t wait for the next one to come out!!

I love that this book was set in the 80's, my favorite decade. The characters are like-able and the story line is refreshing. This is not the same old love story recycled!
When I finished it felt like I had lost touch with an old friend!
I can't wait for the next book. I need to see what happens next!!!!
