Denise Baer offers the reader a delicious bitter sweet offering of poetry bonbons. Some chewy like "i am bard," with it's wonderful rhythms and style. Crunchy as "Balderdash Day, creamy soft centered poems of love and loss, and the hard candy of "Shotgun." The whole lot, and it is a massive amount of variety, is sprinkled throughout with delicious visual vignettes. I am certainly looking forward to reading more of this authors creativity.
