Jim Schmidt recently met Penny Lane and has discovered she loves motorcycle riding as much as he does. After a few short rides together, they agree to ride on Jim's dream ride: following the Easy Rider route from LA to New Orleans. But they find themselves caught up in the mystery of her new boss being jailed after a vicious street fight. The mystery turns into danger from a drug cartel that follows them on their motorcycle ride, and a desperate gun battle in the Four Corners region. They survive, but the danger is not over. An apparition strangely reminiscent of James Dean----an Indiana native Jim has a weird nexus to----appears at key moments to save Jim and his love affair with Penny from disaster.
