This tension is matched by the political and social tensions of the DSS and their enemies, and the new wars that seem to be verging in the wider world.
Here, the narration takes sharp turns with excellent action description, juxtaposed but complementary to the love scenes that are interspersed with them. Overall, Strategic Entanglements is a 'badly behaved' romp for those who want sharp action sequences and powerful romance in one well-formed package.

As I began to read Strategic Entanglements, I immediately knew that this was going to be a fast-paced read, and now that I have finished the novel, I can happily write that the book is just this! It is an intriguing, unique espionage novel unlike anything I have read before, that captivated me with its heart-pounding moments and phenomenal literature courtesy of the excellent author D.E. Knightley.
If you are a reader who loves being taken on a journey that is full of shocking moments that are memorable as well as astounding, then you will love Strategic Entanglements, so do not miss out!
