Izzy Ballard, author
I never dreamt of running away to Alaska, but things have a way of changing. Now I was certain of only three things: 1. Waking up in bed with a stranger isn't the fun it might sound like on three vodkas and a dare. (And, no. I haven't done either.) 2. Looking in the mirror and not knowing who you are? Sucks. 3. Rolling out of bed with enough bumps and bruises to make a linebacker cry, means I have no choice. I have to make a break for it, even if the stranger in bed looks like the boy next door grown up. Even if escape means hopping a ferry to the farthest place I can think of (small town Alaska, Population 21), in the hopes of buying enough time to regain my memory. But is escape really an option? Because even paradise has its problems. One: Finding out I am the daughter of a Senator and yet, no one appears to be looking for me. Two: Building a life on a lie and then falling in love with that life. And three: The realization that the whole thing is bound to go up in flames at any second and there isn't a damn thing I can do about it. Or is there?

Izzy Ballard's Temptation, Alaska is another delectable confection from the author of Alaska Virgin Air.
