Smelly is a funny-looking garbage truck! He is old, dented and very stinky. Despite the stink, Smelly is friends with almost everyone in Sun Valley Springs, the cleanest city in the country. Smelly is the one who has always made sure that Sun Valley Springs is sparkling on the day of the annual clean-city contest. He loves doing his job but the Mayor's mean assistant, Doo Little Morris, wants to stop him this year. Doo Little thinks that Smelly is too old and gross to take care of the city. He wants shiny, new trucks. Doo Little would do whatever he could to stop Smelly from winning the contest... When Smelly breaks down before the contest begins, he starts to wonder whether he really belongs in Sun Valley Springs. It will take the help of wise Mayor Jim Socks, the townspeople, and Smelly's friend, Big Tow, to save the day!
