Although aimed at younger readers, this was a very enjoyable and quick read. The character descriptions paint such a vivid picture that I began casting actors in my head. The story draws you in immediately and I found myself wondering what happens next. Hopefully there will be more books in this series, especially one that explains the sasquatch's origins. I will definitely be recommending this to others.
My mind was blown a few times with the turns this great book took! I am not the biggest fan of bigfoot, but Rebecca makes this story so intriguing that I couldn't put it down! J.T. is a wonderful protagonist and I will recommend this book to all my middle school students! I can't wait to read what else Rebecca writes in this series!
This book captured my son's interest from the beginning. He can be a reluctant reader, but refused to put it down! The twists in the plot, and the well developed characters made for interesting conversations with him about the book. Both my husband and I have read it, and are excited to see more from this new and intriguing author!
I am a teacher and will be using this book as a book club selection for my fifth graders.
The Bigfoot Paradox is an excellent book, filled with suspense and adventure. Once you start reading it, you are pulled in and feel like you're alongside young JT Meeks, during all the excitement. This is an engaging and insightful read that fills one with a sense of wonder. Though it is meant for the young reader, I recommend it to people of all ages.
This book was very well written for a young reader, with rich and varied vocabulary. It will keep both boys and girls engaged and wondering if Bigfoot will be discovered. I was intrigued from start to finish! Enjoy!
