The only thing Farzad ever wanted was for the world to notice him. With this ambition in his heart and a gun in his hands, he entered Alessandro’s Cucina. He gained control of the place in just a few minutes. Based on superstition, he had decided to keep only seven people, including himself, in Alessandro’s Cucina. In a blink, the lives of Jack, Regina, Paul, Bill, Levi, and Jagriti changed in a lot of ways. Being in this close proximity of death, they realized the value of their lives.
Gill D. Anderson is a genius storyteller. The characters make a connection with the readers in a matter of a few pages. The sincerity with which the author has built them is absolutely commendable. The story keeps going back and forth in time, yet there is never any confusion with regard to the timeframe. The plot is filled with suspense, drama, infidelity, etc. The desperate attempts of the hostages to ensure their survival could not have been better put together. I am in awe of the writing of the author. Can't wait to read other books written by her.
