Soon to be 10 year old twins, Basil and Rosemary Tribble, were once so close they could read each other’s thoughts. But after the accident, the twins and their mother were forced to move to the isolated Mesmer Island. Mesmer Island is a mysterious place filled with superstitious people and legends of monsters, the most frightening being the Witch of the Woods. None of the locals would dare step foot in the Witch’s woods. But Basil, being from the mainland, didn’t believe in all that hocus pocus. That is, until he wandered into the woods and found himself face to face with the Witch herself! Trapped and alone, Basil’s life hangs in the balance.
