The Dark Season Saga

In every world there are the players; listeners, doers and sayers. They are those who define their world as they build and destroy civilizations. Yet there are other, more mysterious, players who have lived across the ages ... undetected. Those are the watchers and takers, and the greatest of them is the pillar of our story.

The first part of the saga speaks of Nymtha, an elite member of a subterranean race of shadow and earth. They have been silently watching the world of mortals for as long as history recorded without the slightest interference in the affairs of men. He is a creature of shadow and to the shadow he is bound yet from those shadows he, and his kin, saw everything. The genn are drawn to witness every turning point in the history of the realm of Talor. Whether a historical meeting which ended in a world changing deal between nations, an obscure assassination of an iconic figure or the veiled events that started a war… they were there … unseen, watching silently. Then when the storm passes and the place is abandoned they walk in and collect. In their hands, forsaken legacies and wasted chances finally reside; crowns of fallen kings, tomes of forgotten knowledge, withered thrones of wasted nations, broken scepters, abandoned weapons of legendary warriors, and many more. The genn watch our mistakes and strip away its memory.

At the turn of the tide, when the realm of Talor changes forever, Nymtha finds himself entangled in the events that reshapes his world. Then into his hands the most coveted treasure man ever sought finds its way. A treasure man long lost hope of finding and kingdoms perished in its pursuit. Now he finds himself forced to make the choice every genn fears to face; the choice that would change everything. After millennia in the dark, he might be forced to run into the light ... onto history’s stage.
