The Flower Shop, Caldron of Conspiracy tells the story of Harry and Rosa, who meet by chance on a long bus ride from the U.S. border down to Mexico City. When Harry visits the Florería Roma (where Rosa works) he learns that the sinister conspiracies brewing in the back room go far beyond the takeover of Pemex and the Mexican government. He learns that some of the conspirators have ideas of their own, and he uncovers a plot to assassinate key leaders of the World Bank and International Monetary Fund and plunge the free world economy into catastrophic collapse. Harry and Rosa eventually make it to Acapulco, where they’re forced to deal with a couple of the conspirators, but somehow Acapulco is not as much fun as they thought it would be.
