Serenity, the lithium addicted teen runaway, couldn't control the reality around her or the vile nature behind the eyes of 'caring' fosters, so she escaped. But for Serenity, escaping meant being wakened to another reality, one of forgotten beasts and discarded myths, living in another world beneath a blanket of perpetual nightfall. Serenity has no fear, no fight or flight; her past has instilled something stronger. But, there are things in The Hollows that feed upon the cruelty of their world, gorging themselves on the fear and hopelessness, and now they have trained their sights on Serenity.
