THE INVASION OF NORMANDIE is a quick-paced comic fable about the power and menace of modern fame. When troubled pop singer/actress Normandie Vine plows into a police car and gets shipped off to a mountain rehab facility in Colorado, two high school sisters in neighboring Nebraska find themselves sheltering the world famous star in their tiny town. Determined to “rehab” Normandie themselves, the sisters are immersed in a crazy three-day drama as they struggle to keep nosy classmates, Normandie’s overbearing manager, a relentless paparazzi, and the national media from discovering where she is.
