Aaron Williams, a physics professor, creates a time machine, but vows to never use it to change history; only to observe and record history. A crime organization steals the machine and kidnaps Aaron after killing people close to him. They force him to use the machine to help them drastically change the world, placing the world under their control with slavery, despair, and misery reigning while the crime organization gets wealthier. They are holding Aaron prisoner until he trains a replacement. Aaron is the only one who wants to change history back to what it originally was and should be. Even after deciding that he will use the time machine to alter history to change it back, he has to escape from an all-powerful crime organization and then correct history with the criminals wanting to stop him. The history of the world hangs in the balance.
