This book was fun to read and kept my interest consistently. It was hard to put down and made me late getting into bed a couple of nights. The plot has some historical information in it that is very interesting. It was fairly close to the end before I figured out the final twist. I certainly recommend everyone read this.
A wonderful mystery novel. Written with a tongue-in-cheek attitude that makes it fun to read. Matt is hired by a woman, Catherine Martin, who tells him she has inherited a long-missing Faberge egg and needs his help with the security and sale of the egg. To provide for Cat's safety, Matt has her move in with his neighbor (and friend with benefits), Clarice Talmage. Clarice and Axel, Matt's helper and former cellmate are continuing characters in the series.
A Russian mogul, Gregory Kalma, wants the egg at all costs, including murder if necessary.
As my Russian friends might (not) say, "Gudonya, David!" Matt Kile twists his way to the truth once again. As always, reading a Bishop book is a pleasure.
