A Midsummer’s Wish is book one in The Seasons of Annah series and wow, what a start to a series! A Midsummer’s Wish is a novel I was destined to love ever since discovering it. There is nothing I love more than romance and the romance theme laced with many poignant ones ensured that I was captive to the unfolding story and ensured that I would love the book from start to finish. When I started to read A Midsummer’s Wish, I was instantly swept off my feet thanks to the incredible author’s mesmerizing literature that was laced with a passion which in turn kept me turning the pages with haste.
A Midsummer’s Wish is a beautiful contemporary fiction book that will introduce the reader to the protagonist of the novel, Annah-Belle Henderson. Annah-Belle is a fifty-five-year-old woman, and she is desperate to find love, so much so that she is willing to do just about anything to find love and she is going to do just this. Annah-Belle is an earth witch, and she has cast a spell for love and love is granted but in the most unexpected person. Annah-Belle’s love comes from the young nephew of her best friend, yes book lovers, Eric Ashworth is twenty years younger than Annah-Belle, but she is in love and so happy that he loves her. What follows is a captivating tale full of highs and lows, and the result is an incredibly entertaining read that you won’t be able to forget for a long time!
The story of A Midsummer’s Wish is a thrilling and moving one that features many profound themes. The themes explored throughout the journey are hard-hitting because although there are many lovely themes, there are also upsetting ones. However, the novel as a whole is mostly adorable, and the reader won’t be able to help themselves turn the pages with haste thanks to the fast-paced narrative and how exciting the unfolding story is to read.
Tinthia Clemant is the exceptional author of A Midsummer’s Wish, and in her book, she has ensured that no stone is left unturned. Clemant has managed to craft and develop a highly entertaining story that weaves suspense with intrigue with romance moments and heart and the result of these themes, which are all expertly spun together by Clemant, is a compelling story that is worthy of every book lovers read! The situation and events Clemant has managed to create are phenomenal, and every immaculate detail is well thought out. The book itself is one that is full of a wealth of creativity and imagination and worthy of a high amount of praise.
What I also adored about A Midsummer’s Wish was the author’s attention to her characters and her story. What I mean by this is that Clemant took her time with her characters and her story, being careful to develop them at the perfect pace. I hate reading a novel that rushes the development of either the story or characters, so the fact that Clemant was so careful to take her time and develop the story and characters organically show us that she really does appreciate not only literature but the reader’s experience, and that to me is beautiful.
Tinthia Clemant is an author who I believe will be a big hit sometime soon and I genuinely mean this. There are a lot of authors out there today, and many of those write romance but the genre is awash with generic, cliché romances but A Midsummer’s Wish is far from this and is, in fact, a refreshing twist on romance. The unique story combined with the many poignant and incredible themes make A Midsummer’s Wish a stellar romance novel that will stand out from a crowded genre.
Overall A Midsummer’s Wish is a moving, thrilling and exciting read that captured my heart and ran off with it. If you are a reader who is looking to get lost in a romantic tale packed full of emotion and poignancy, then have a read of A Midsummer’s Wish because you will not regret it! A Midsummer’s Wish gets five dazzling stars from me so do not miss out book lovers! You won’t regret it.
