The Vance Legacy is a sad love story. Big Bill's love for his wife leads him to do terriblethings that wil affect his family long into the future. David's love for Lillian and Beth's love for David, binds the three of the in a destructive love triangle and they all do things that they regret. If that isn't enough drams, the backdrop of these love stories is the atrocities of slavery and life on a tobacco plantation. I could not put the book down and I finished it in a couple of days.
