Marvin Phakathi is an employee at Xabali Logistics whose life takes a dangerous turn after he decides to become carefree for a change and entertain an emotional connection with his boss Mbali Xaba. His pro activeness in the office brings him closer to Mbali who had always had a secret crush on him even though she was a substantial number of years older than him. Mbali had recently got into a third-party contract with Dynasty Airlines and Efris Dynamic at the behest of Ousofia Amwe the owner of Efris and as yet unknown Associate of the cruel and cold-blooded Francis Chinedu who preferred the nickname Enwu. Enwu believed himself a man kissed by fate and that made him invincible and set for the domination of the criminal world. This was stemming from a lost memory of him walking into the home of witchdoctor after he accidentally burns his best friend Samuel alive. Ousofia and Enwu were involved in all forms of criminal activity ranging from sex trade to thuggish violence depending on the day of the week however their focal business was narcotics supply and distribution. Their whole organisation was masterminded and protected by an unknown man by the name Silverfox. They had intended to use Mbali`s trucks to transport the drugs without her knowledge but because of a recent switch of insurance companies Mbali unknowingly throws a wrench at Ousofia and Enwu`s plans. They initially try to void the contract but she counters with a lawsuit of her own that was beginning to draw media attention that would expose their core businesses beneath the surface. Enwu and his people formulate a plan to murder Mbali, they invite her to a business networking event where they will poison her making her death seem like she went under cardiac arrest. Marvin foils the plan after he learns about the plot from his neighbour who is an escort in Enwu`s organisation. His actions draw interest from Enwu who is worried Marvin is a threat to his destiny that he had sacrificed a lot for. Marvin`s life is turned upside down when he and Mbali are caught and subjected to excruciating and cruel forms of torture. Many more unexpected deaths occur and it is revealed that it was all part of a larger diabolical scheme by the witchdoctor.
