Weigh Yourself Slim

Adult; Health, Diet, Parenting, Home, Crafts & Gardening; (Market)

Are you truly fed up with being overweight and struggling with fad, yo-yo diets? Are you ready to lose weight forever and invest more than ten days into a diet? If you answered yes to these questions, then this book is for you. Weigh Yourself Slim is a new and unique method that:

  • will not only help you lose weight, but will turn you into a slim person, physically and mentally;
  • does not endorse strange diet or exercise programmes;
  • is unique to you;
  • provides no dietary restrictions;
  • is natural and healthy.

In contrast to most current diets, this method doesn’t make silly promises about unrealistic, quick weight loss, but it does promise long-term results with no danger to your health. It goes down to the root of the problem of obesity, which is that people have lost their natural ability to balance their diet. With a little help of weighing scales, this book provides a dynamic and revolutionary programme on how you can re-introduce that ability and begin your personal journey to your ideal weight. Equally as important – this system will enable you to maintain that ideal weight for the rest of your life.

Cornell researchers: Actually, you should weigh yourself every day

Maybe it's time to forget that advice from your doctor or nutritionist about how stepping on the scale every day could be counterproductive to your weight loss goals.A two-year study by Cornell University researchers found that people who weighed themselves frequently and tracked the results on a chart lost weight and kept it off. The results were more apparent for men than women.The logging "forces you to be aware of the connection between your eating and your weight," David Levitsky, the paper's senior author and a professor of nutrition and psychology at Cornell, said in a statement explaining the conclusions of the study. "It used to be taught that you shouldn't weigh yourself daily, and this is just the reverse."[Scientists: These two commercial weight loss plans work best to keep pounds away]Published in the Journal of Obesity, the research study is small. There were only 162 individuals, a self-selected group that wanted to lose weight, and they were allowed to choose any weight loss method, including reducing portion size or skipping meals.The most significant finding isn't how much weight the participants lost (it was small), but how long they kept the pounds off. Studies have shown that 40 percent of weight lost comes back within a year and 100 percent in five years.In contrast, one year after the weight loss treatment, the men in the Cornell study who weighed themselves frequently weighed less than at the beginning. After two years, the average weight regained for men and women was close to zero.

Press Release

MAIDSTONE, England – A two-year study of Cornell University researchers cites that “that people who weighed themselves frequently and tracked the results on a chart lost weight and kept it off.” Sharing her own knowledge and experience relating to this recent study is author M Holmes who suggests to people that the best way to lose weight is to “Weigh Yourself Slim” (published by AuthorHouse UK).

As recent research has proved, regular weighing is the key to weight loss success, Holmes reckons that it is the easiest way to understand our bodies and learn how to naturally keep them in balance. This dynamic losing weight program is based around the daily use of weighing scales which are not just there to tell people about their current weight, but are a key tool to get them motivated and increase understanding on how the food they eat and lifestyles they lead are affecting their weight on a daily basis.

“I want readers to permanently lose weight and become “slim” – physically and mentally,” Holmes expresses. “Most weight-loss methods tell us not to weigh ourselves regularly; they say that it is ‘unhealthy obsession’ and we should concentrate on losing weight, while this program controversially says the opposite and fights this irrational scale-o-phobia.”

A revolutionary and completely natural way to a healthier physical and mental frame, “Weigh Yourself Slim” helps readers — especially people who struggle with their weight — incorporate a simple, practical and lively approach that helps them not only lose weight but get back the ability to become a slim person once and for all.
