Where the Carnies Are, is about a twenty-something girl that accidentally walks through a portal to a magical kingdom where carnies spend their time during the off season. It is here that Olive learns she isn’t who she thought she was. Magic lives in her blood, but it has yet to reach her heart. As she is pulled into the world where her parents’ past is covered up, she also comes to care for the people that welcomed her in—especially a handsome knife thrower named Alex. When the ruling king starts to pose a threat to Olive and her new friends, she must step up and finish the job her parents couldn’t.
