From the Heart...

"Wisdom from a Father" is a collection of delicious, food for thought, short essays/blogs illustrating Joe Siccardi's life experiences. Framed in a religious context and punctuated at the end of each essay by an inspirational quote, Siccardi has a knack for taking the ordinary and elevating it to something we can all relate to and be touched by. 'Conversation with God' 'Grandma' and 'Dion shares his truth' were memorable and thought-provoking pieces. Particularly moving were the images and interactions with his late wife, Karen.

Siccardi writes from his heart--he is genuine and unvarnished. How refreshing. I'm a better person for having read this unpretentious yet enlightening book filled with a father's sage advice. Nicely done!
