Wisps from The Cavern is three story book; each short story is meant to entertain you without a profoundly long narrative that requires your attention for days on end. The first story, A Formal Affair, is about a young executive "player" who gets caught up in a web of chicanery and deceit that may cost him his life and his lady. Grasping at straws, only a street-wise dogged search for answers is his only hope. The second, Minnie Lee, is part one of a two-part chronicle that reveals the trials of lady, a victim of the times, 1928, trying to survive, despite the lust and callousness of her pursuer, with her children, one in particular, with a divergence from the norm. And the third, When The Walls Sing…Beware, takes you on a quick ride through the life of a peripatetic soul who seeks the art of sorcery to rid himself of his ills, but is frivolous with the solution. All three are quick reads, but sufficient to draw you into the persona of the characters, their dilemmas, and their fight for survival. The author trusts you will find each intriguingly satisfying.
